AJ Styles offered to help a former WWE star when they were released.

Indi Hartwell was released by WWE back in November 2024 after spending five years with the company.

Since leaving WWE, Hartwell initially resumed her career in Australia, winning the Renegades of Wrestling Women’s Title. She followed that up with a match against Mercedes Mone at House of Glory City of Dreamz on March 15.

Although she lost the match, the meeting was especially important for Hartwell, who has made no secret of her admiration for the AEW star. The bout was Mone’s first independent match since 2012.

In the latest update on her vlog, Hartwell shared a message she was sent by AJ Styles after being released by WWE. In the message, Styles encouraged the Aussie star to keep wrestling and not give up.

Keep battling, don’t quit. The reason for everything is always there. Don’t let this be the end of the story. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know.

AJ Styles Was Nearly Forced Into Retirement

During a recent interview, AJ Styles revealed that a freak foot injury almost ended his career. The former World Champion suffered the injury in a match against Carmelo Hayes in October, and he wouldn’t wrestle again until the 2025 Royal Rumble.

Styles noted that while he was able to avoid surgery, retirement was a very real possibility, and there was no guarantee physical therapy would resolve the issue.
