AJ Styles & Dragon Lee Continue Winning Streak On WWE RAW

A major title match was scheduled for tonight as Adam Pearce announced on last week’s episode of WWE RAW that the World Tag Team Championships would be defended on tonight’s show.

The current tag team champions, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee, were scheduled to face The New Day in only their sixth appearance as a tag team. However, they had been undefeated in all their previous five matches.

The New Day had won the titles at WrestleMania this past year before they dropped them to The Judgment Day. However, they were never given a rematch for the belts till Finn and JD were champions, making this match even more important for them.

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee retain WWE World Tag Team Championships

The high-stakes match proved to be an extremely entertaining one as both teams gave it their all during this bout. The New Day seemed desperate to get their hands on the title while AJ Styles and Dragon Lee showed no intentions of letting them go.

An impressive to-and-fro between the two teams saw them exchange momentum, but ultimately, it was the champions who walked out with the victory on the night.

They retained the titles with an impressive finish as Styles draped Kofi Kingston over the ropes while Lee jumped on his back. Styles then transitioned into the Styles Clash while Dragon Lee took out both Woods and Grayson Waller with a dive over the top rope to the outside, as Styles won the match for his team and continued their winning streak.
