AJ Lee’s Reaction To CM Punk’s World Heavyweight Championship Win

AJ Lee has reacted to CM Punk becoming a 7-time World Champion.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI on November 1, Punk faced Jey Uso for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

A few weeks ago, Seth Rollins was stripped of his title after getting injured at Crown Jewel.

CM Punk had qualified to face Rollins earlier by winning a triple threat match against Uso and LA Knight on the October 13 RAW edition.

After the title was vacated, Jey won a 20-man battle royal the next week to earn the right to challenge CM Punk for the title.

The bout was exciting, with The Second City Saint dominating most of the proceedings. There came a moment in the match when both men hit the other person’s finisher but failed to land a pinfall.

In the end, it was Punk hitting consecutive GTS before covering Uso for the win.

After the match, AJ Lee reacted to her husband’s victory. She took to social media to share a picture and captioned it, “proud mama and larry @cmpunk,” Larry being their dog, who is also seen in the photo.

What’s Happening With AJ Lee?

AJ Lee hasn’t been seen in WWE for a while.

Her last appearance was at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, which was her first in-ring match in over ten years.

While Lee and CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a tag team match, reports suggested that Lee’s feud with Lynch would continue.

However, the 38-year-old has yet to return, leaving fans wondering about her WWE future.

Apparently, AJ Lee is busy promoting her new comic book, Day of the Dead Girl.

In a now-deleted social media comment, she confirmed that she is not injured and even mentioned Becky Lynch, hinting that she was coming for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

On a book tour. Not injured, but I appreciate the concern. Also, thanks, Becky Lynch, for keeping the title warm for me. Momma will be back, soon.

The timeline of her in-ring return remains unknown.
