AJ Lee Spoils Her WWE Future After SmackDown Goes Off Air (Video)
AJ Lee returned to WWE on the latest episode of SmackDown and made her intentions very clear.
The segment kicked off with Seth Rollins announcing Punk would die in his hometown, Chicago, and proceeded to bring in Becky Lynch. The Man slapped Punk again. However, The Voice of the Voiceless had the last laugh.
Lee entered the ring, and the crowd’s energy was electric. Fans cheered her on as she went on to take down The Man and slap her out of the ring.
AJ Lee will pursue the Women’s Intercontinental Championship
When Lynch was slapped out of the ring, she did not have the time to take the Women’s Intercontinental Championship belt with her. Lee got her hands on it and left the ring with it.
While Punk and she were heading backstage, she ran back to the ring with the championship and held it high up in the air. It seemed that she was letting the fans know that she was a future Women’s Intercontinental Champion, maybe even the one who dethrones Becky Lynch.

For now, it has already been reported that Lee will team up with CM Punk against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Owing to the popularity of the babyfaces, they should rise strong against The Vision members at Wrestlepalooza.
Interestingly, WWE does not plan to make Wrestlepalooza a one-off affair for AJ Lee.
