AJ Lee Pictured Backstage With WWE Star As Absence Continues

AJ is still very much with WWE.

On September 5, AJ Lee made her long-awaited return to WWE after being away from the company for a decade.

Two weeks later, she got back in the ring to team with her husband, CM Punk, to beat Becky Lynch at Seth Rollins at Wrestlepalooza.

Following the match, Lee revealed that she took the bout at one month’s notice, confirming that the deal for her comeback came relatively late in the day. Despite her mix of anxiety and excitement, Lee went on to describe the match as a “chaotic fairytale.”

After denying that she’s retired, Lee has now been photographed backstage with Dragon Lee, confirming that she’s still very much in the picture.

When Will AJ Lee Return?

According to a recent report, AJ Lee could be about to return to the ring in a very famous match for the first time.

Although she’s yet to make her comeback on television, it’s been claimed that Lee will be part of WarGames at Survivor Series. According to that report, Lee will team with Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss to face Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and NXT star Lash Legend.

Lee’s presence in that match appears to confirm that her rivalry with Lynch will continue whenever she returns to television. It’s long been rumored that the pair will meet in a singles match at a huge PLE in the future.
