AJ Lee Accepts Stephanie McMahon Interview On One Strict Condition

AJ Lee has sat down in conversation with Stephanie McMahon, but the WWE star accepted that interview on one shocking condition.

AJ Lee shocked the world when she made her comeback to WWE after ten years away in 2025. Lee’s first bout back in the company came at Wrestlepalooza, where she teamed with CM Punk to defeat Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team match.

Lee went into hiding again after that bout, only to return on Raw in Madison Square Garden, where she helped Maxxine Dupri capture the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Lynch. AJ Lee has now been added to WarGames at Survivor Series, where she will team with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair.

AJ Lee Addresses Stephanie McMahon Issue

Now, AJ Lee has sat down for her first podcast interview since her return, and she’ll be appearing on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon.

McMahon and Lee famously had an online spat as Lee’s WWE career was coming to an end. The former Divas Champion used her voice to go public with her thoughts on WWE’s pay structure for its female competitors as she wrote on social media:

Now, in a teaser for her podcast appearance with Stephanie McMahon, it’s been revealed that Lee only agreed to appear if they acknowledged the very public fallout from a decade ago.
