AJ Lee Celebrates Anniversary Of Career-Changing WWE Milestone

AJ Lee has celebrated the anniversary of one event which changed her WWE career forever.

AJ Lee is a former three-time WWE Divas Champion and frequently stole the show as part of the main event scene in the company in 2012, where she was an integral part of the story between CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and Kane.

Lee was named Raw General Manager for a spell as she jilted Daniel Bryan at the altar to take up Vince McMahon’s offer of the role.

The popular star left WWE in 2015, having her last match in the company on the Raw after WrestleMania 31. That came over a year after her husband CM Punk had infamously walked out of WWE.

Plenty of WWE stars continue to clamour for AJ Lee’s return, but as yet, she has not returned to the ring. However, she’s happy to celebrate her accomplishments.

AJ Lee Celebrates WWE Anniversary

Taking to social media, AJ Lee responded to the 12th anniversary of her winning the WWE Divas Championship to kick off her 295-day reign with the gold:

Happy anniversary to your favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler

Lee captured the WWE Divas Title for the first of three times in her career when she defeated Kaitlyn for the gold at Payback in June 2013.
