Tony Khan Regarding Rampage in Chicago – “Everyone Knows What To Expect”
AEW President Tony Khan thinks he knows exactly what fans are expecting at AEW Rampage: The First Dance when the company takes over Chicago on the 20th of August.
The First Dance will be AEW’s second-ever episode of Rampage and was the hottest ticket in town when it was announced for Chicago’s United Center. The show itself sold out in minutes after tickets went on general sale with many fans surely expecting a hometown hero to make his long-awaited return to wrestling.
CM Punk is the name on everyone’s lips at the moment in the wrestling world as speculation has mounted over the last several weeks that the former WWE Champion is set to debut in AEW.
“Furthermore, we’ll hear a little bit more about what’s coming on Rampage. It’s going to be a huge card, and tonight we’ll establish more of what’s coming on the premiere of Rampage. Of course, I think everyone knows what to expect on the second episode of Rampage, which is titled ‘The First Dance.’ And I expect the anticipation will continue to build.”
However CM Punk has sprinkled a little bit of cold water over a potential appearance, saying that he might have a prior engagement that night.
