AEW’s Penta El Zero Miedo Denies Talking To WWE

Penta El Zero Miedo AEW

Penta El Zero Miedo claims he is still firmly part of AEW but is defending his interests as huge question marks about his future and WWE continue to loom large.

The future of the Lucha Brothers in AEW looks to be on extremely shaky ground with suggestions swirling that Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix had already agreed to a move to WWE.

Fenix has already pulled out of an independent date on September 27th, while it’s been said Lucha Brothers have already received an offer from WWE after making it clear they want to leave AEW. Meanwhile, there have been claims within AEW that the Lucha Brothers “didn’t want to do business in the appropriate ways.”

This has now led to reports that AEW will extend Rey Fenix’s contract due to time missed because of injury while Penta is still also under a deal with Tony Khan’s company meaning he’d be unable to negotiate elsewhere.

Penta Still Committed To AEW For Now

Speaking to Mas Lucha, Penta El Zero Miedo has now given his side of the story and claims he has not thought about his future as he is still part of AEW and he is open to getting back in the ring there:

It’s like I was saying, everyone defends their interests. Tony [Khan] is defending his interests and we are defending our own. I’ll say this, I am still under contract with AEW, that is my present. I have not thought about my future because I prefer to think about my here and now, and my now is AEW.

If they decided to not have us in matches, that’s their thing, but I am ready for the day they need me to go to work with the same energy and enthusiasm I’ve always had.

As far as the future goes, Penta claims he cannot even think about talking to another company for now and will leave anything related to contracts will be left to his legal team but reaffirms his present commitment to AEW:

We will see what happens in future months, but I am still in AEW and I cannot even think about talking to another company because that is not of my involvement. My legal team, lawyers and that stuff will handle everything relating to contracts and the like, but my job is inside that ring and with the fans.

Everything that happens outside of that will be handled by people in their areas. My present in AEW, I’m still firm with them and, quite frankly, I don’t know what will happen in the future.

The last time Penta El Zero Miedo competed in AEW was back in July when he teamed with Fenix to defeat Private Party.
