AEW’s Mercedes Mone Reacts To Naomi’s WWE Title Win

Mercedes Mone might be a top AEW star, but that’s not stopped her from sharing her reaction to Naomi’s major WWE title win.

Mercedes Mone failed to become AEW Women’s World Champion at All In Texas, with Toni Storm bringing Mone’s win streak to an end by virtue of an avalanche Storm Zero.

Despite the loss, the major title match in a stadium show is a long way from when the star then known as Sasha Banks walked out of WWE alongside Naomi after growing tired of their creative direction.

While Banks renamed herself as Mercedes Mone to begin her run in New Japan Pro Wrestling as well as AEW, Naomi returned to WWE, and it proved to be a worthwhile move.

Mercedes Mone Thrilled With Naomi’s Win

At Evolution, IYO SKY defended the Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley, but neither of those women left the show with the title. Naomi cashed in her Money In The Bank contract during the match, making it a triple threat bout and winning the title.

Now, taking to social media, Mercedes Mone has reacted to her friends big win with a GIF of Bryan Danielson doing his famous “Yes!” chant with the caption:
