AEW’s Mercedes Mone Going Double Or Nothing At Wrestle Dynasty

Mercedes Mone is set to go double or nothing at Wrestle Dynasty after accepting a huge challenge for one of her titles.

At Full Gear, Mercedes Mone managed to escape with her TBS Title as Kris Statlander provided her toughest challenge yet. This was in spite of Mone’s ally Kamille attempting to distract Statlander but messing things up leaving Mone in real trouble.

Mone celebrated her success at Full Gear on the following edition of Dynamite but was clearly not happy with The Brickhouse. The TBS Champion attempted to fire Kamille but Kamille quit instead and walked out on The CEO.

Mercedes Mone will defend her TBS Title at Dynamite Holiday Bash against Anna Jay but now Mone has a challenger for the other championship she holds, the NJPW Strong Women’s Title.

Mina Is Coming For Mercedes Mone

At NJPW Strong Style Evolved, Mercedes Mone successfully defended her Strong Women’s Title against Hazuki in the main event. Afterwards, she was confronted by Mina Shirakawa who challenged Mone to a match at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th.

Mone agreed to that match but only if Shirakawa put her Rev Pro Undisputed British Championship on the line, something that she agreed to. As with all good wrestling title challenges, the two rivals then danced together to end the show.
