AEW’s Jack Perry Announces Injury

Jack Perry entrance AEW Collision

Jack Perry recently confirmed reports of him sustaining an injury on AEW.

The last few weeks have been busy for Perry as he has been one of the participants in the Continental Classic Gold League.

The 28-year-old opened his run against the 2024 champion Kazuchika Okada. Despite his best efforts, Perry suffered a loss, meaning he failed to register any points for himself in the tournament.

His second match against Mike Bailey on the December 17 episode of AEW Collision was successful in comparison, as he not only defeated Bailey but also put himself on the leaderboard with 3 points.

Later, a few reports claimed that he sustained an injury during his match earlier against Okada on Dynamite. While neither AEW nor Jungle Jack Perry made any statements at the time, he revealed that he indeed picked up a niggle in his first match.

Speaking during a backstage segment, he claimed that he felt much better and was happy with his victory over Mike Bailey.

Well, my ankle feels like sh*t. My mouth tastes like Speedball’s toes. But all in all, pretty damn happy. Because I am finally on the board in the Continental Classic. That’s three points right there. I got two more matches, PAC and Kyle Fletcher, and these guys are animals. One way or another, I think I might just find a way to take this whole thing home.

Jack Perry Progresses Swimmingly In AEW Tournament

During the show, Jack Perry was scheduled to face Pac in his next Continental Classic Gold League match.

Perry has been determined to go all the way in the tournament, and in his dedication towards his goal, he gave it his all, securing a hard-earned win against the Death Riders’ Pac.
