AEW’s Darby Allin Stands On Top Of The World

Darby Allin AEW

AEW star Darby Allin is literally on top of the world as he becomes the first wrestling star to complete a heroic feat.

Risking life and limb in AEW has never been enough for Darby Allin, who regularly undertakes insane challenges outside of the ring. The biggest of these challenges saw him plan to climb Mount Everest in April 2024, but Allin’s plans were thwarted by a broken foot.

Now with his delayed climb well underway, Darby Allin has already broken a bizarre world record. On social media, Allin shared a video of him nailing a kickflip on his skateboard before announcing that he’s now taken the world record for the highest elevation kickflip at an incredible 20,958 feet.

And now he’s achieved even more.

Darby Allin Climbs Mount Everest

On May 18 2025, came the update everyone had been waiting for as it was confirmed that Allin and his team of fellow climbers had made it to the top of Mount Everest:

8:50am local time Summit!

Good weather was in our favor, but many teams took advantage of the short window aswell, which slowed our progress more than expected.

Darby Allin, USA
Ang Dorjee Sherpa, Nepal/USA 24th summit
Pasang Bhote, Nepal 14th summit
Tashi Thundu Sherpa, Nepal 12th summit
Pemba Sherpa, Nepal 2nd summit

The team will savor their moment on top and then start the return back to Camp 4.

AEW fans last saw Darby Allin in the ring back in December 2024 when he competed in his final match of the Continental Classic against Ricochet.
