AEW’s CJ Perry Faces Surgery As Infection Worsens

AEW star CJ Perry has undergone surgery following an infection in her finger significantly worsening.

The former Lana was forced to miss AEW Collision on Saturday night in Garland, Texas as she faced a trip to the emergency room. CJ Perry revealed an infection in her finger had spread through her arm causing her to seek medical help.

Now in a worrying update on social media, Perry has revealed that a 50-hour stay in the ER was going to culminate in surgery on Monday night:

I have been in the ER and hospital for over 50 hours. The infection has gotten worse and I’m going into surgery tonight. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I love you all

When Did CJ Perry Join AEW?

CJ Perry made her surprise AEW debut at All Out 2023, helping her husband Miro fend off an attack by Powerhouse Hobbs. Since then, Perry and Miro have had an uneasy on-screen relationship with the former TNT Champion not wanting his wife managing other AEW stars.

Perry has allied with Andrade El Idolo and while Miro has assured Perry he will not get in El Idolo’s way during the Continental Classic, he has warned that after the tournament is over, all bets are off.
