Several AEW And WWE Names Confirmed For American Gladiators Reboot
WWE star The Miz will be hosting the rebooted American Gladiators.
As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, Kamille, Wardlow, and former WWE Superstar Rick Boogs (Eric Bugenhagen) are among the names set to star in the upcoming season of American Gladiators.
The news comes after it was reported back in May that former World Champion The Miz would be hosting the show.
Barry Poznick, general manager of MGM Alternative, Evolution Media, and Big Fish Entertainment, issued the following statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
“The original Gladiators were iconic, so our search for the new Gladiators had to be exhaustive. Our team went cross country, meeting with thousands of fitness influencers and professional athletes to find the highest caliber of competitors. Every Gladiator in this lineup embodies what it means to be a modern warrior — relentless, inspiring, and ready for the challenge of a lifetime. They are real-life superheroes.”

The report noted that after a meeting with Tony Khan, it was decided that Wardlow’s comeback would be delayed due to an upcoming TV project.
