AEW World Title Match Announced For Dynamite Winter Is Coming
Samoa Joe has a new challenger for AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming.
At Full Gear, Samoa Joe beat “Hangman” Adam Page in a blood-soaked Cage Match to win the AEW World Championship for the second time. However, the match wasn’t without its fair share of controversy.
In the closing stages, Katsuyori Shibata tried to get into the cage, only to be thwarted by Eddie Kingston. But this left the way clear for Powerhouse Hobbs to get the door open, and he tried to help Joe but was dispatched by Page.
With Hobbs down, Hook got involved, seemingly to help Page, but he hit the champion with the title belt to align with The Opps once more. This allowed Joe to take the victory and the World Championship.
Samoa Joe To Defend AEW World Title
On the following episode of Collision, Eddie Kingston beat Katsuyori Shibata before turning his attention to Joe and Hook. The Mad King said that he had no issues with Hook, but he’s got to deal with his actions and decisions. But he doesn’t want Joe to take the second-generation star down the wrong path.
Kingston then challenged Joe to a match at Dynamite Winter Is Coming for the World Championship, and the match was later made official. The annual special will be held on December 10.
