An injured AEW star is on the verge of a comeback.

During Rampage, a new video package aired, hyping the return of Scorpio Sky. The former TNT Champion has been out of action with an injury since early October, with his last AEW match taking place on September 16th.

In the clip, Sky said he was coming back better than ever, adding the “sky’s the limit.”

Sky joined the company back in 2019 and formed one-half of the first-ever World Tag Team Titles alongside Frankie Kazarian. Sky later joined forces with Ethan Page and they in turned formed part of American Top Team with Dan Lambert.

Ethan Page left AEW on May 2nd, having spent three months attempting to get out of his contract.

Sammy Guevara Closing On AEW Return?

Meanwhile, the AEW roster could soon be handed another boost with the return of Sammy Guevara. It’s been reported that the Spanish God is no longer suspended, and there have been pitches made for his return. However, there’s no word on when he’ll be back on television.

Sammy Guevara was suspended after a match with Jeff Hardy back in February. During the contest, Hardy suffered a broken nose, and there were concerns he’d also sustained a concussion, however, concussion protocols were reportedly not followed. It’s believed this is what led to his suspension.

Guevara is no stranger to controversy having been suspended by the company once before.
