AEW Tease New Show Name

AEW might have a whole new show waiting in the wings or a major special edition of Dynamite could be on the way very soon.

AEW recently trademarked the name ‘Spring Breakthru’ for a very special edition of Dynamite that will see it overtake WCW Nitro in terms of number of episodes. That show is stacked with The Hurt Syndicate defending the AEW Tag Team Championship with the AEW Trios Title on the line as the Death Riders defend their gold against The Opps.

The Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments will also continue on the show with Mercedes Mone set for a huge showdown with ROH forever champion Athena. Adam Page will have to wait to find out his opponent as he will face a wild card in the men’s Owen Cup quarter-final.

But it seems another new AEW show is on the way.

AEW File New Trademark

AEW has now filed to trademark the term “AEW Summer Blockbuster” indicating another seasonal special is on the way. The USPTO listing describes the filing as for:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events.

AEW has revealed its debut in Scotland with Dynamite and Collision heading to Glasgow ahead of Forbidden Door in London in late August.
