AEW Team Tease 3rd Man For New WrestleDream Match

An AEW tag team has said they will have somebody to watch their back for their match at WrestleDream.

On the final episode of AEW Rampage before the WrestleDream PPV on October 12th, The Acclaimed duo of Max Caster and Anthony Bowens were set for tag team action. However, they never got to have a match.

The MxM Collection (Mason Madden & Mansoor) attacked The Acclaimed before Caster & Bowens made it to the ring. It was also announced that on the WrestleDream Zero Hour Pre-Show, The Acclaimed will face the MxM Collection in tag team action.

After the attack, Mansoor delivered a promo that made it clear that the MxM Collection would have somebody in their corner during their match at WrestleDream.

“Now you see what happens when Daddy Ass isn’t around to protect you! We drop you on your asses! I bet none of you thought MxM Collection were capable of this! We wanted to keep it light and fun, but you took our Grand Slam Collision moment away from us. So now we are going to take something from you. Tomorrow night at WrestleDream we are going to beat you and take your spot!

“As you can all see, when the numbers are even, MxM Collection come out on top. So tomorrow night we are going to have a very special surprise, a third man in our corner! I promise you that he is going to make sure we kill and bury scissoring once and for all!”

How Many Matches Will Take Place At AEW WrestleDream?

The full card for AEW WrestleDream appears to have 12 matches counting the pre-show. There is also some segment with Swerve Strickland making his return after a month away, but that segment is not being advertised as a match.

AEW WrestleDream takes place on October 12th from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington with this lineup.
