AEW Talent Blasts Weird Undertaker & His Horrible Podcast

The Undertaker

One AEW talent has clearly had enough of The Undertaker’s takes on modern wrestling, labelling the WWE Hall of Famer as just plain weird.

Since finally bringing his career to an end in 2020, The Undertaker has never been far away from WWE and the wrestling world with his live one-man shows and his own podcast.

It’s on that podcast that The Undertaker gives his take on the wrestling business and it’s not always very complimentary about the stars of today. The Undertaker has claimed WWE is now too calm for him under the management of Triple H and has previously called the current product “too soft.”

As he moves away from The Undertaker character to the real-life Mark Calaway in the public gaze, the WWE Hall of Famer has also been more open about his political beliefs which have alienated some fans.

RJ City Hits Out At The Undertaker’s “Half-Ass Horrible Podcast”

Speaking to ex-ECW star Francine on Eyes Up Here, popular AEW broadcaster RJ City gave his candid thoughts on The Undertaker’s recent thoughts and thinks his claims are weird given that he portrayed an undead zombie for most of his career:

I’ve haven’t seen anyone so wrapped up in a whole thing that is unique to themselves (like Toni Storm) since, I don’t know, The Undertaker? And she’s not doing half-ass horrible podcast now.

She’s not wearing weird problematic shirts and being like, ‘Wrestling is not telling stories.’ Thanks, Mark. I really appreciate it. His show is weird. The guy is weird. He’s a weird man. ‘Back in my day, it was a lot better.’ I’m sorry, were you always dead? Did you start off dead? Would you like to explain that?

RJ City has been credited for being a major player in the Toni Storm/Mariah May storyline in AEW which culminated in May winning the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In.
