AEW Talent In Favour Of Recent Changes
AEW talent ensures recent changes continue.
It was recently announced that AEW Collision will be heading to GalaxyCon on December 7th. The announcement came after the Nationwide Arena revealed that the original booking for December 7th had been canceled.
Interestingly, the live edition of the show will now be an outlier.
In recent weeks Collision has been taped on Thursdays before airing in its usual slot on a Saturday and it’s a change that looks set to stay.
AEW Collision Change Set To Stay
As reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it appears that Collision will continue to be taped on Thursdays. Meltzer noted that change has been popular with “main talent” who regularly feature on Dynamite.
I expect more Thursday Collision tapings going forward. The main talent likes it because if they are on the road on Wednesday, it’s far easier to stay for a second day of taping rather than either stay on the road two days and come back Friday night or Saturday, or go home on Thursday and come back Friday night or Saturday morning. It does hurt the rating somewhat not going live.
You can find the full spoilers for the November 16th episode of Collision here. The show was taped at the the MVP Arena in Albany, New York on November 14th. On the show, Stardom star Mina Shirakawa wrestled her AEW match since August.
