AEW Talent Calls Out Recent ‘BS’ Report On Backstage Issues

AEW

One AEW competitor is not happy with a recent report on the backstage goings on in the company as relate to AEW Women’s Champion, Thunder Rosa.

Thunder Rosa has been out of action since having to pull out of a scheduled AEW Women’s Title defence against Toni Storm at All Out in September. In her absence Storm won a four-way match to crown an Interim AEW Women’s Champion and according to some, questioned the validity of Rosa’s injury at the post-show media scrum.

Thunder Rosa recently took issue with claims that she had in any way ‘faked’ the injury and gave a rough time frame for her return to the ring.

A report recently surfaced from the Wrestling Observer which suggested that some of the enhancement talents that were said to be “close” to Thunder Rosa had not recently been booked by the company. These included KiLynn King, Madi Wrenkowski, and Jazmin Allure.

Now AEW wrestler and the man who books the extra talent for AEW, Captain Shawn Dean has taken issue with the report on social media, saying that it is “dumb bs”:

“It’s the kind of careless reporting like this causing unnecessary issues and problems for no reason! U have no info, yet still report this dumb bs! All those talented women are in good standing. So whoever brought that to ur attention is a liar and a fraud. #Salute”

Shawn Dean will be most familiar to fans of Dark and Elevation or Sammy Guevara’s Vlog. Dean does however hold two victories over MJF on Dynamite, those coming as a result of disqualification and count out.
