AEW Stars Suspended & Fined For Collision Incident

AEW has been forced to dish out disciplinary action once again with two stars fined and suspended after an incident at Collision.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler brutally turned on Adam Copeland at Dynasty, leading to Copeland having to be stretchered out of the arena. The three men had teamed together as Rated FTR to challenge for the AEW Trios Title at the event but after a tough loss, it proved to be all too much for FTR.

Many people made their feelings about FTR clear after the attack on Copeland, including AEW announcer Tony Schiavone. On the April 12 edition of Collision, FTR asked Schiavone to join them in the ring which he naively did. Harwood and Wheeler set up Schiavone for a spike piledriver before they were stopped by Schiavone’s co-commentator Nigel McGuinness.

Daniel Garcia, who had grown close to FTR in recent months, came to the ring to calm them down but was shoved to the mat for his efforts. Harwood apologised immediately for that but later in the night, FTR again pounced.

FTR Punished By AEW

FTR faced Daddy Magic Matt Menard and Cool Hand Ang in tag team action and punished their opponents. With the team looking for multiple spike piledrivers, Daniel Garcia begged them to stop, which they did as they picked up the win. After the match, FTR attacked Garcia, hitting a pair of spike piledrivers before The Paragon – Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly ran them out of the ring.

On the Spring BreakThru edition of Dynamite, Tony Schiavone confirmed that due to their actions FTR had been fined and suspended by the company for one week.

Dax Harwood was recently fined $10,000 by AEW following his attack on one of the company’s referees.
