Several AEW Stars Struggling For Fitness After Double Or Nothing

The Young Bucks entrance AEW Double or Nothing

A number of AEW stars are feeling the effects of Double or Nothing.

AEW Double or Nothing 2025 has been praised as one of the best wrestling events any company has produced in recent memory. The majority of the company’s biggest stars were all in action, putting their bodies on the line in matches with high stakes.

This saw “Hangman Adam Page and Mercedes Mone win the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Cup, respectively, while Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale, Powerhouse Hobbs, Samoa Joe, and Katsuyori Shibata teamed up to beat the Death Riders and The Young Bucks in a wild Anarchy In The Arena bout.

However, several of those impressive performances appear to have come at a cost.

Several AEW Stars Banged Up

As reported by Fightful Select, there’s “a lot” of talent waiting to be cleared ahead of Dynamite on May 28. The identity of those on the questionable list remains largely unknown, but one source noted that it’s as long as it’s been for a while.

Among the walking wounded are The Young Bucks, who are both said to be hurting following Anarchy In The Arena. There were fears that Nick Jackson suffered a concussion, but those claims remain unconfirmed.

In better news, Jamie Hayter emerged unscathed from her match with Mercedes Mone, despite one particularly wince-inducing landing. Will Ospreay is also said to be fine after his physical balls-to-the-wall performance against “Hangman” Adam Page.

Despite the event’s success, it’s been reported that several AEW figures are frustrated at the length of the company’s pay-per-views.
