AEW Star’s Merch Pulled By Company As Exit Approaches

One AEW star’s exit has been all but confirmed after their merchandise was pulled from the company’s website.

Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Penta finally made his long-awaited WWE debut on the January 13 edition of Raw where he defeated Chad Gable. Penta’s arrival in the company had been an open secret for quite some time after he disappeared from AEW TV in the summer of 2024. But Penta wasn’t alone.

His brother Rey Fenix also disappeared at that time and reports suggested both Lucha Brothers were WWE-bound, but there was a sting in the tail to be felt. Due to injuries, Rey Fenix had his AEW contract extended meaning that he is still under a deal with Tony Khan’s company for quite some time yet.

Rey Fenix hit out at inhumane treatment by AEW in a series of social media posts that he quickly deleted. For those AEW fans hoping for a resolution that would see Fenix back in the ring, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

AEW No Longer Selling Rey Fenix Merch

Eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Rey Fenix’s merch store on AEW’s website now leads to a “404 Not Found” error meaning the page has been deleted. With AEW pulling Fenix’s merchandise from sale it looks like it is only a matter of time before he also jumps ship to WWE.

Interestingly, Malakai Black’s merch page is still available but for much how longer, nobody knows. Malakai Black is widely believed to have finished up with AEW and could be looking for a route back to the company that fired him in 2021.
