AEW Star’s Contract Expiring End Of August
Brock Anderson could be a free agent in a matter of days.
The AEW talent is yet to sign a new deal with the company, and the date of the contract expiration has been revealed by his father Arn Anderson.
Speaking on the ARN podcast, Anderson was asked about the status of his son within the promotion. The Horseman confirmed that even though the deal is due to expire imminently, he hopes that a new deal can be agreed:
“Not yet, it’s up at the end of the month. The end of August, so we will see, I hope so you know, I hope — he’s one of those guys, you know, guys like him and Taz’s kid, a lot of young talent that has a lot to offer, just haven’t had a chance yet. I hope things work out and we’re able to stay.”
When Did Brock Anderson Last Appear On AEW TV?
Debuting for the promotion in June 2021, Anderson’s last match took place on the August 12th episode of Collision, where Anderson challenged Luchasaurus for the TNT Championship but was defeated in just over 5 minutes.
Prior to the title match, Anderson would frequently appear on AEW Dark, but now is one of many talents who have received reduced TV time due to the cancellation of the YouTube show.
Being a part of the promotion and gaining valuable experience from veterans of the ring, Anderson has previously revealed advice bestowed upon him by CM Punk after losing a match to FTR.
