AEW Star Written Off TV After Backstage Attack

Following a shock split on AEW TV, one star looks to have been written off TV, perhaps permanently.

In the summer of 2024, Mercedes Mone was the TBS Champion and enjoying her success in AEW when she ran into the challenge of Dr. Britt Baker. But Mone had an ace up her sleeve to deal with the threat of the former AEW Women’s Champion. Former NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille debuted in AEW by the side of Mercedes Mone and The Brickhouse has proved a fruitful ally for The CEO.

At Full Gear, Mercedes Mone managed to escape with her TBS Title as Kris Statlander provided her toughest challenge yet. This was in spite of Kamille attempting to distract Statlander but messing things up leaving Mone in real trouble.

Kamille Split With Mercedes Mone Behind AEW Attack?

On the 27th of November edition of Dynamite, Mone celebrated her success at Full Gear but was clearly not happy with The Brickhouse. As Mone complained that Kamille could do nothing right, she was on her way to firing her when Kamille interrupted.

Kamille asked Mone if she was stupid or if she was dumb before telling the TBS Champion that she couldn’t fire her because she quit. But now that decision might have already come back to bite her.

On the following edition of Rampage, Kamille was discovered laid out backstage surrounded by chairs. Off-screen attacks are often used to write people off TV and it seems this is the case for Kamille but it remains unclear how long she’ll be out of action or if she’ll be back on AEW TV at all.
