One AEW star has suffered a torn muscle but despite the injury they’ve kept working through it, wrestling again on the Homecoming Dynamite.

Brian Cage was in action on the first Dynamite of the new year when he faced off with Trent Beretta, El Hijo del Vikingo, and Bryan Keith in a four-way match with a shot at the AEW Continental Crown on the line. In the end, Beretta picked up the victory and it seems the match left Brian Cage worse for wear.

Taking to social media, Cage revealed that he suffered a “boo boo” after being thrown from the top rope during the four-way match:

Welllllll, I may or may not have gotten a “boo boo” last Wednesday night on Dynamite…..but I’m not a man, I’m a machine! And the show must go on.

Brian Cage In AEW Match Despite Injury

On the Homecoming edition of Dynamite and despite the injury, Brian Cage was in action again, teaming with The Gates of Agony and Lance Archer to take on the eclectic team of Orange Cassidy, Dustin Rhodes, Preston Vance, and Adam Copeland.

Cage again took to social media to show off an impressive feat of strength during the bout and revealed his injury was a torn lat:

Got my sh*t in, did my version of OC ✋ in the pocket, or the “Al Bundy Suplex” and did it all with a torn lat. Who’s a machine?????? This guy ☝️

Cage was a part of Sting’s first AEW match back at Revolution in 2021 and now three years later, Sting has picked his opponents for the final match of his career.
