AEW Star Discusses Working With Legends In The Company
AEW Star Powerhouse Hobbs has discussed his interactions with legends in the company.
The 32 year-old joined AEW in July 2020 and already has an impressive list of highlights behind him during his tenure with the company, including lifting the TNT Championship with a victory over Wardlow on Dynamite in March 2023.
Hobbs would go on to produce one of the most replayed moments on the year on 15th November episode of Dynamite, remarkably lifting the huge frame of Paul Wight to deliver a devastating power slam onto a car during a street fight.
Hobbs joined forces with Brian Cage, Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita, in a losing effort against Wight, Kota Ibushi, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega in a wild brawl.
During a recent chat with Adrian Hernandez Hobbs reflected on the incredible feat:
“It’s a great moment to have that trust from someone like Paul Wight, and you know it’s one of those moments that when it’s all said and done, and you have a highlight reel package then that’s a moment that will be in there.”
AEW Star Powerhouse Hobbs Has High Praise For Taz
Just months after debuting, Hobbs was aligned with Team Taz and the California native had nothing but positive things to say about his time spent with the legendary former ECW World Heavyweight Champion:
“Taz is a straight shooter. There’s a lot of times we didn’t get a lot of moments, but the times that we got moments, we made the best of it and people knew who Team Taz was.
He’s one of those guys you want to shut up and open your ears and listen to.”
