After two months out of action, Thunder Rosa has made her return to the ring, but not in AEW.

In September, Thunder Rosa revealed she was dealing with a concussion and would be on the shelf for several weeks. The former AEW Women’s World Champion hasn’t been seen in the ring since the August 31st edition of Collision. There, she was part of a four-way match for a shot at the TBS Title which also featured Hikaru Shida, Queen Aminata, and Serena Deeb. Shida won the bout, but came up short against Mone at All Out.

On October 15th, Rosa had her first match in over two months with an appearance at Riot Cabaret Thunder Road in London, England. La Mera Mera defeated Nina Samuels in the main event to capture the Riot Cabaret Women’s Title.

Samuels was seen in AEW earlier this year when the company held Collision in Cardiff, Wales. The UK star teamed up with Kid Lykos II in an unsuccessful encounter with Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway.

AEW’s Thunder Rosa Hit Out At False Reporting Of Her Health

While she was out of action, Thunder Rosa hit out at reports “lying about her health.” The star responded to a report claiming she was still out with a concussion in late September, saying the information was “absolutely wrong.” She also noted that she “reserves the right to divulge her medical status.”
