AEW Star Pays Tribute To Kairi Sane After WWE Return
The WWE return of Kairi Sane has made an AEW friend very happy.
Wrestling fans might view World Wrestling Entertainment and All Elite Wrestling as rivals, but the reality is a lot of the talent in those companies support others due to their paths crossing in the past.
An example of this took place on Twitter/X when AEW’s Tay Melo (Guevara) posted a photo from her WWE run that included a wonderful message about Kairi Sane.

Tay Melo has been a part of AEW for three years, but her introduction to pro wrestling was in WWE when she worked there in the developmental system from 2016 until her release in July 2020.
Since joining AEW, Tay has gotten married to fellow AEW wrestler Sammy Guevera and the couple is expecting their first child later this year.
Kairi Sane’s WWE Return Continues IYO SKY’s Championship Reign At Crown Jewel
One of the big championship matches at WWE Crown Jewel on November 4th saw IYO SKY defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair. The match had a shocking finish when Kairi Sane made her return to WWE by attacking Belair outside the ring, which led to Sky finishing off Belair with the Over The Moonsault.
After the match, Sane hit her Insane Elbow drop on Belair while celebrating with her good friend Sky in the ring. All of this was done in a way that shocked Bayley, who was the leader of the Damage CTRL group that Sky has been part of for over a year.
In July 2020, Sane was viciously attacked by Bayley in a segment that was done to write off Sane from WWE storylines. Sane recently agreed to a deal to return to WWE and now she’s back on the Smackdown brand with Sky.
