Surprising AEW Star Tipped To Become Company’s Main Event Ace
AEW star might have no shortage of main event stars, but one younger name has been tipped to outshine them all.
The AEW roster is packed with talent, with pay-per-views bursting at the seams with high-quality matches, all of which can threaten to steal the show.
At WrestleDream, that accolade arguably went to one bout that wasn’t even meant to be part of the PPV. FTR faced off with JetSpeed on the Tailgate Brawl pre-show, but by design, the match bled into the pay-per-view itself with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler picking up the win.
But there are big things being predicted for one member of JetSpeed.
Kevin Knight AEW’s Next Breakout Star?
Speaking on the Beyond the Bell Podcast, Dax Harwood explained how impressed he is with JetSpeed and thinks Kevin Knight has everything he needs to become a main event star:
I’ll tell ya, JetSpeed….I text Chad Gable, I said, we have more chemistry with JetSpeed than anybody else we’ve had since we wrestled American Alpha. I think Kevin Knight is going to be our main event ace.
I’ve never been with someone in the ring who knows ring positioning, who is as smart as he is, who knows timing…I could say a million good things about him, but he will be a big star for us in about three to five years.
Kevin Knight joined AEW in 2025 after spending several years in New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he was a two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion with KUSHIDA as the Intergalactic Jet Setters.
