AEW Star Claims The Rock Isn’t So Handsome After Weight Loss
Has The Rock really lost his looks as a result of his recent weight loss? One AEW star thinks so.
At Elimination Chamber in February 2025, The Rock was on hand to light the fuse on John Cena’s shocking heel turn. The Final Boss opened the door for Cody Rhodes to align with him, but when Rhodes forcefully declined that offer, John Cena turned on Rhodes before Cena, The Rock, and Travis Scott laid a vicious beating on The American Nightmare.
During his time away from WWE, The Rock has been focusing on his Hollywood career. And judging by new footage of the star, which has appeared online, he’s been slimming down dramatically.
And this weight loss caught the eye of AEW star Bryan Danielson.
Bryan Danielson Points Out The Rock’s Giant Head
Speaking to Jon-Bernard Kairouz, Bryan Danielson was asked about The Rock’s drastic weight loss, and Danielson thinks it could be as simple as The Great One looking after his health:
He looks great. Yeah, I think he looks great. He might just want to live longer. You never know what kind of injuries he has, or because he’s an actor, he could just be getting ready for a role.
Danielson then joked that The Rock had lost some of his trademark good looks as a result of shedding so many pounds:
Do you know what’s funny? He’s super handsome? Do you know what he looked like to me when I saw the picture in comparison to the rest of his body? Now it looks like he has a big head! Guess what, Rock? You’re not so handsome anymore. How does it feel, I mean, he’s still obviously much more handsome than me, but how does it feel to not be as handsome as you used to be? Take that!
Didn’t it look like a big head? It did look like a big head. And it might just be that we never noticed because he was so jacked, he just always had this giant head!
The Rock might have the last laugh, however, as he received a 15-minute standing ovation for his latest film, The Smashing Machine. The role sees The Rock play troubled ex-UFC star Mark Kerr and has many insiders tipping the WWE icon for an Oscar nomination.
