Beloved AEW Star Taking Time Off Due To Injury
The AEW women’s division will be without one of its biggest stars.
In 2025, Harley Cameron has risen to become one of the most popular stars in AEW. This has seen the Aussie star quickly rise through the women’s division despite her relative inexperience.
Fans have taken the dynamic star to their hearts, and this swell of support saw her challenge Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship at Grand Slam Australia.
However, Cameron’s impressive momentum has reportedly been slowed, at least for the time being.
On the May 28 edition of Dynamite, Cameron and Anna Jay faced Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford in a violent No Disqualification Match. During the match, both Jay and Cameron were left bloodied as they tasted defeat, but those injuries were apparently an illusion to cover for something more serious.
Harley Cameron Injured At AEW Double Or Nothing
Despite her apparent beating on Dynamite, it’s been reported by Bryan Alvarez that Harley Cameron suffered a legitimate injury at Double or Nothing, where she also teamed with Anna Jay against Bayne and Ford.
Alvarez noted that Cameron used fake blood during her match on Dynamite, and it was used to set up an injury angle, explaining her absence. There’s no word on the exact nature of Cameron’s injury or how long she’ll be out of action.
Following Double or Nothing, it was reported that several AEW stars were banged up after the show, with The Young Bucks in particular said to be hurting. In addition, there were concerns that Nick Jackson had suffered a concussion.
