AEW Star Suspended After Recent 2 Month Absence

Tony Khan AEW

Despite recently missing two months from the ring, one AEW star has been suspended by the company.

In November 2024, AEW Rampage saw Rush and The Beast Mortos of La Faccion Ingobernable teamed to face Alec Price and Richard Holliday – two talents that are not signed to Tony Khan’s company.

Reports from the time noted Holliday had to be checked by an AEW doctor after Rush got very physical during the match. LFI teamed one more time on the following edition of Collision, with The Acclaimed winning to move on to the AEW Tag Team Title match at Full Gear.

The Beast Mortos was part of the Continental Classic but Rush was missing for over two months before he returned to AEW on the February 1 edition of Collision where he defeated Max Caster. Reports suggested AEW did not officially suspend Rush during his absence but after two matches back in the company that has changed.

Rush Suspended By AEW After On-Screen Attack

The February 8 edition of Collision saw LFI back to full strength as Rush, Dralistico, and The Beast Mortos teamed up for a trios match they won with ease. After the bout, Komander attacked the group before being joined by Hologram. The two high-flying stars cleared the ring and when Rush tried to attack with a steel chair he was held back by officials. Rush then punched a referee leaving them lying.

Now in spoilers for the February 22 edition of Collision, it’s been revealed that Rush has been suspended – in storyline – by AEW for his on-screen attack. It remains unknown how long Rush will be missing from action from this time.
