AEW Star Separates From Husband After 14 Years

An AEW star has asked for understanding from fans.

In a statement posted across her social media channels, Thunder Rosa announced that she’s separated from her husband Brian Cervantes. The AEW star said that the couple had decided to move apart in a “friendly and respectful manner,” while asking fans for respect and understanding.

After 14 years together, Brian Cervantes and I have decided to go our separate ways in a friendly and respectful manner. Relationships sometimes change shape, but the care and respect remain.

I had the privilege of raising and adopting his son as my own, a gift I will always
carry in my heart.

I’m grateful for the support I received at the beginning of my career, and I kindly ask for respect and understanding during this time of transition.

Thunder Rosa Unable To Make AEW Return

During a recent interview, Thunder Rosa said that she “can’t be in the ring right now” as her AEW absence continues.

The star has been out of action since suffering an undisclosed injury during the women’s Casino Gauntlet Match at All In Texas. That match was ultimately won by Athena, who went on to unsuccessfully challenge “Timeless” Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

In October, the former Women’s World Champion said that she hoped to be back soon, but no specific date was mentioned.
