AEW Star Sends Emotional Thanks To Nikki Cross

An AEW star took to social media to send an emotional thank you to Nikki Cross.

On November 29th, Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo announced the birth of their first child. Luna Melo Guevara weighs 8.4 lbs and was born on November 28th after more than 24 hours of labour. The happy couple commented, “Our life is complete.”

Melo later took to social media to send special thanks to WWE star Nikki Cross for helping get her mom to the hospital in the middle of the night.

Sammy Guevara hasn’t wrestled since competing at WrestleDream on October 1st. On the night the star teamed with Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita in a match against Chris Jericho, Kota Ibushi, and Kenny Omega.

During the match, the star suffered a concussion but he appears to be on the comeback trail following the birth of his daughter. It’s been reported that Sammy Guevara has been cleared to get back in the ring, and will return to television soon.

Have Tay Melo And Nikki Cross Worked Together Before?

Tay Melo signed with WWE in 2016, wrestling as Taynara Conti. During this period she clashed with Nikki Cross by interfering in her matches, before the pair wrestled in singles action.

Melo was released by WWE in April 2020 before signing with AEW that August.
