AEW Star Says Adam Cole Will Never Wrestle Again

Is Adam Cole coming back to AEW?

At AEW Double or Nothing, Adam Cole made a surprise return to AEW after Roderick Strong lost the International Title to Will Ospreay. However, as the leader of the Undisputed Kingdom contemplated the loss, he was interrupted by MJF who was making his own return

MJF promptly destroyed Cole before declaring war on the rest of the locker room.

While the Salt of the Earth has since begun his climb back to the top by winning the International Title from Ospreay, Cole has remained on the sidelines.

During an interview with The Wrestling Classic, MJF said his former tag team partner will never be back.

“Isn’t he dead? Didn’t I kill him? I broken his nuts and then I broke his spine. I mean, it was pretty straight forward. He’s never coming back to wrestling, and I think we can all agree. Bad guy, not a nice guy. If anyone is upset with the way I’m acting, call Cole because it is not on me.”

Adam Cole “On His Way Back”

Despite the confidence from MJF, it’s recently been reported that Adam Cole is closing on a return to the ring.

The report explained that because of the complicity of the injury, he’s not yet back to full fitness, however, the belief is that his recovery won’t take much longer. The former ROH and WWE star hasn’t wrestled since teaming with MJF at All Out in September 2023.
