AEW Star Says They Are Coming For Samoa Joe’s World Title

A rising star in All Elite Wrestling has issued a warning for the new World Champion, Samoa Joe.

It was at AEW Worlds End on the second last day of 2023 when Samoa Joe became the man to end MJF’s record-setting reign as the AEW World Champion.

MJF went into that match at Worlds End as the AEW World Champion for a record 406 days. That title reign was 60 days longer than anybody else in company history. However, Samoa Joe was too much for MJF at Worlds End and Joe became the new champion after choking MJF out.

To begin AEW Dynamite on January 3rd, Samoa Joe issued something of a warning to everybody in AEW and showed why he’ll be a very confident World Champion.

On AEW Collision in Charlotte, FTW Champion Hook spoke about how he’s been watching this man since he was a young age and then he mentioned that he was coming for Joe’s AEW World Title.

“My winning percentage in this company is second to none. I think it’s time to get after another championship. Samoa Joe, I’m coming for you and your World Title.”

Hook does have an impressive winning percentage since he’s 43-3 in his AEW career. As for his line about watching Joe for a long time, Hook’s dad Taz managed/advised Samoa Joe in TNA Wrestling, but that was a brief thing. Still, that is where that connection comes from.

Samoa Joe Returns On AEW Dynamite

AEW has promoted that Samoa Joe will be on AEW Dynamite in Jacksonville on January 10th where it’s likely that Joe will talk about being AEW World Champion and perhaps address these comments from Hook.
