One missing AEW star has eased the company’s injury troubles as they reveal they’ve been cleared to get back in the ring.

Former TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs has been absent from the squared circle since late April after picking up a knee injury in a defeat to Jon Moxley in an IWGP World Heavyweight Championship bout on the 24th April edition of AEW Dynamite.

The 33-year-old star, who joined AEW in 2020, was part of the Don Callis Family before his injury setback and now it seems Hobbs is ready to get back in the ring.

Powerhouse Hobbs Ready To Go In AEW

Speaking on In The Kliq, Powerhouse Hobbs explained the extent of his nasty injury and confirmed reports that he has been cleared to return to action, meaning the Book of Hobbs could be opened once again in All Elite Wrestling:

Ruptured my patellar tendon. A pretty gruesome injury. Me being me, I’ve been cleared. Healed up pretty fast. Got that Wolverine serum in me a little bit. I’m cleared. I’m back. It’s already been put out in the internet world that I’m cleared. Time to pick up where I left off.

During Hobbs’ absence, The Don Callis Family has gained a new face through an intriguing deal with Jake Roberts while Konosuke Takeshita captured the group’s first AEW gold when he won the International Title at WrestleDream.
