AEW Star Pulled Out Of Match Due To Injury

A young AEW star is out of action with an injury.

It’s been announced that Billie Starkz will miss Limitless Wrestling’s 2024 Vacationland Cup Tournament on August 17th. The star had been announced for the show back on August 7th.

In a short statement, Limitless Wrestling stated that Starkz had been forced to withdraw through injury. At present there’s no word on what the injury is, or how long Starkz will be out of action.

The young star last wrestled on July 28th at a Ring of Honor taping where she teamed with Athena to defeat Queen Aminata & Red Velvet.

AEW Star Pulls Out Of Indie Appearance For Very Different Reason

Meanwhile, on August 9th, Rey Fenix pulled out of an appearance for New Era Wrestling due to “personal circumstances.”

Fenix and his brother Penta El Zero Miedo are expected to leave AEW for WWE, and the appearance on September 27th would have been after his AEW deal expires. This only further added to the speculation that the pair will be heading to the sports entertainment giant as soon as possible.

As the speculation around the pair intensifies, there’s been talk within AEW that they “didn’t want to do business in the appropriate ways” on their way out.
