AEW Star & Partner Expecting First Child Together
One AEW star has a reason to celebrate as he’s expecting a child with his partner.
It’s been a busy few years for many of wrestling’s top stars, with lots of babies arriving. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch welcomed their first daughter in late 2020, and the following year, Jon Moxley and Renee Paquette also welcomed a baby girl into the world.
Alexa Bliss took two years away from WWE to have her first child, while Naomi had to vacate the Women’s World Championship as she recently announced her own pregnancy.
Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo also had their first child in 2023, while Ruby Soho and Angelo Parker had a daughter in late 2024.
And now another AEW star is celebrating the impending arrival of their own bundle of joy.
AEW’s Nigel McGuinness & Partner Expecting Child
In a post on Instagram, AEW announcer Nigel McGuinness and his partner Kaori Takee announced that they were expecting their first child together:

McGuinness has one child from a previous relationship.
The 49-year-old commentator was back in action for AEW at Forbidden Door, where he challenged Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. McGuinness was unsuccessful in his pursuit of gold as his compatriot retained his title.
McGuinness returned to the ring following a 13-year absence at All In London 2024, where he was part of a battle royal ultimately won by Christian Cage. He had his long-awaited rematch with Bryan Danielson one month later on Dynamite Grand Slam.
