AEW Star Injured Immediately After Comeback

Britt Baker Riho AEW

One AEW star who recently made their return to the company for the first time in months has now suffered an injury that will put them out of action once again.

Riho had not been seen in All Elite Wrestling since March 2024 when she lost to Willow Nightingale on Dynamite. In an update on her status in April, the first-ever AEW Women’s Champion took to social media to reveal she was dealing with visa issues in her native Japan:

I am currently in Japan for renew my VISA. I don’t know when I will return to AEW. Please stay healthy and enjoy your life until then.

On the 29th of June edition of Collision, Riho was back and set her sights on a very dangerous opponent. Former NWA Women’s World Champion Serena Deeb picked up a very quick win over Kelly Madan before issuing a challenge to anyone in the locker room on her level. That brought out Riho who confronted Deeb with the two women having a staredown.

Riho Suffers Injury In AEW Comeback

The 6th of July edition of Collision saw Riho compete in her first match in four months as she defeated Lady Frost but it seems that win came at a cost.

Following the match, Riho took to social media to reveal that she had been injured, suffering a fractured arm:

I just fractured my arm but I’m doing very well❤️‍🔥

It is not known how long the first-ever AEW Women’s World Champion will be out of action but after a four month layoff, fans will no doubt hope to see her back as soon as possible.
