A former champion in AEW isn’t happy about false reports.

Thunder Rosa is a former AEW Women’s Champion who has overcome a lot in her career. Rosa was out of action for about 16 months due to a back injury from the summer of 2022 until her return in December 2023. Since then, Rosa has been able to wrestle regularly although she hasn’t captured a championship since coming back.

Recently, Thunder Rosa announced that she was out of the AEW ring for at least a few weeks due to a concussion.

It was reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer that Rosa “should be returning to AEW soon as she has been cleared after suffering a concussion.”

AEW’s Thunder Rosa Not Happy About False Report About Her Health

On Twitter/X, Thunder Rosa responded to the post by writing in all caps to emphasize her point.

STOP LYING ABOUT MY HEALTH. I’m NOT CLEARED AND WHEN I AM I WILL ANNOUNCE IT. I reserve the right to divulge my medical status.

If you need information ask me directly or my team….

Over the last few months, Thunder Rosa had a lengthy feud with Deonna Purazzo, who is a former TNA Knockouts Champion. The rivalry ended on the August 10th episode of AEW Collision when Rosa beat Purrazzo in a Texas Bullrope Match.

Everybody at TJRWrestling wishes Thunder Rosa good health and a successful return to the ring whenever she is cleared to do so.
