AEW Star Has “Zero Respect” For Triple H

Triple H WWE

An AEW star has no love for Triple H.

Despite achieving a great deal of success together in WWE, which included two World Championships, MVP and Bobby Lashley both left the company in the summer of 2024.

MVP later said WWE’s management, led by Triple H, “wasn’t for him” after highlighting concerns about how he books Black talent. These criticisms have been a regular feature of Triple H’s tenure in charge, and he claimed in October that he “doesn’t see colour” when confronted with these claims.

However, it seems there’s more to MVP’s dislike of Triple H than meets the eye.

MVP Has No Respect For Triple H

In a new interview with Bet Ideas, MVP looked back at the end of his time with WWE while discussing his decision to leave. The leader of The Hurt Syndicate initially reiterated that he was concerned with how he and others would be booked under the company’s current management, citing Lashley’s slide into the mid-card.

“Let’s just say this, Bobby Lashley was a two-time WWE Champion, and after he took over, Bobby Lashley was reduced to the mid-card,”

He then told fans to look at who is in the top spots on television under Triple H and who has been given opportunities, dismissing the idea he’s simply “griping.” However, he said his issues with Triple H have nothing to do with race and instead stem from their personal interactions.

“I’ll be honest with you, my issues with him have nothing to do with race. My issues have to do with him as a person and our personal interactions and things that he said and did that caused me to have zero respect for him.”

At Double or Nothing, under MVP’s guidance, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin successfully defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Sons of Texas. That victory came after MJF was finally allowed into The Hurt Business, although the situation remains unstable.
