AEW Star Undergoes Gruelling Shoulder Replacement
One AEW star is on the long road to recovery after undergoing surgery for a shoulder replacement as they look to put 2 decades of pain behind them.
Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh, and Jay Lethal have been menaces since forming their group in AEW but they might have to do without the antics of the pencil-wielding Sonjay Dutt for the foreseeable future.
Taking to social media, Sonjay Dutt revealed that after dealing with issues in his shoulder for years, he has now undergone a reverse total shoulder replacement:
After dealing with a myriad of shoulder issues for the better part of the last 2 decades, I started my journey to get fixed. Last wk, I underwent surgery, receiving a reverse total shoulder replacement. Been extremely taxing mentally/physically, but I’m so excited for my future!

Sonjay Dutt Joined AEW After WWE Exit
As well as his on-screen role, Dutt is also a producer with AEW, joining the company in June 2021, one day after his exit from WWE after two years in that company was confirmed.
The last time the former TNA X-Division Champion competed was back in February 2023 when he teamed with Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, and Satnam Singh in a defeat against The Acclaimed, Billy Gunn, and Orange Cassidy.
