AEW Star Furious At Tony Schiavone After Ultimate Insult
One AEW star is not happy with commentator Tony Schiavone after he made a major slip-up on Collision.
The February 8 edition of Collision was a big one for The Don Callis Family ahead of Grand Slam Australia. Kyle Fletcher picked up a big win over former ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe. Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega have formed a dream team to face Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita in Brisbane, Australia on February 15.
Backstage, however, the rest of The Don Callis Family was involved in some destruction as Lance Archer was seen beating up some hapless bystanders. Tony Schiavone, however, had a flashback to his WCW days as he called the massive Archer “Lance Storm.” Nigel McGuinness quickly corrected his broadcast colleague but Don Callis did not take it well.
Don Callis Never Liked AEW’s Tony Schiavone
Taking to social media, Callis claimed that the mix-up was the “ultimate insult” as he relished in poking fun at Lance Storm:
I never liked @tonyschiavone24 but this is the ultimate insult, comparing the great Lance Archer to that territory killing, Cracker Barrel eating cure for insomnia Lance Storm

Collision also saw Toni Storm get into the head of Mariah May once again ahead of their huge match at Grand Slam Australia. Storm snuck into the ring in the place of May’s quickly dispatched opponent and almost dropped the AEW Women’s World Champion with a piledriver on the ring steps but May escaped through the crowd.
