AEW Star Forced To Vacate Title
One AEW star has been forced to vacate a championship due to an injury that also kept them out of action at Forbidden Door.
For weeks now Bryan Keith has been sitting under the learning tree of Chris Jericho alongside Big Bill in AEW. Prior to Forbidden Door, Keith suffered an injury leading to Jericho looking for a third man for a big trios match pitting his side against Samoa Joe, HOOK, and Katsuyori Shibata.
Chris Jericho reached out to an old Forbidden Door partner of his in Minoru Suzuki but the NJPW madman refused that offer and instead challenged Jericho to a match for the FTW Championship.
In the end, NJPW World Television Champion Jeff Cobb answered the call to join Jericho and Big Bill but at Forbidden Door it was HOOK that picked up the victory after dropping Jericho with his own version of the Judas Effect.
