AEW Star Wrestles First Match Since June 2023
After a long injury nightmare, an AEW star has made a winning return to action.
At Ring of Honor Final Battle, Bandido returned to television for the first time since June 2023. However, his momentum was stopped once again before he had a chance to get going.
While coming to the aid of Matt Cardona and hitting a missile dropkick on Chris Jericho, his head violently snapped off the canvas on landing and he looked visibly dazed in the minutes afterward. Following the event, it was reported that Bandido had suffered a concussion.
But thankfully, for the first time since he lost to Konosuke Takeshita on the June 16, 2023 edition of Collision, Bandido is back in the ring.
Bandido Returns To AEW Ring
On the February 1 edition of Collision, Bandido made his return to television coming to the aid of The Outrunners. In doing so, he put Bryan Keith through a table.
Unsurprisingly, Chris Jericho and the Learning Tree didn’t take the attack lying down, and the veteran placed a $200,000 bounty on Bandido’s head.
Fast forward seven days and Bandido picked up an important win over Keith as he attempts to get his career back on track after an X-Plex followed by a 21-Plex. The match was the star’s first on AEW television in 603 days, although he recently wrestled three times on the Jericho Cruise.
Elsewhere, Hologram made his own return to television to join Komander to fight La Faccion Ingobernable.
