AEW Star Fined For Dynamite Comments

Tony Khan AEW Media Scrum

AEW star Austin Gunn’s wallet is a little lighter following his comments on Dynamite directed towards MJF.

On Dynamite in Portland, Oregon Colten and Austin Gunn got the chance to flex their muscles in a tune-up match against The Bollywood Boyz ahead of their Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship shot at Full Gear.

The Gunns will challenge for the title on the Zero Hour portion of that show on November 18 against MJF who may or may not have a partner as Adam Cole remains out of action with injury.

Following The Gunn’s quick win over The Bollywood Boyz, Austin Gunn took to the microphone with some stiff words for MJF:

“Max, you’re an embarrassment as a champion. For the past three months, you’ve defended the ROH titles one time. Now, the only friends you have left are on the other side of this guardrail. And, I pray to God that you pick one of these fat pieces of s**t (pointing to the fans) as your partner for Full Gear.”

Austin Gunn Fined For His Language After AEW Dynamite Rant

Gunn took to social media after the show to note that he’d been fined $500 for his bad language on the show but plans to make it back by beating MJF for the ROH Tag Team Title:

got fined 500$ for speaking my mind about what I thought about the fans tonight it’s ok, I’m rich plus, i’ll make it back when I get that POV bonus for stripping MJF of the ROH Tag Team Titles see you at #AEWFullGear

MJF will also put the AEW World Title on the line at Full Gear against The Gunn’s leader in Bullet Club Gold, Jay White. Whether or not MJF is able to successfully hang on to both titles in Los Angeles remains to be seen.
